Little Lady Xiao then bowed her head once again, once more
Staring at the White Mystic, she said; "I have none.. no more~"
Little Lady Xiao's eye's spoke otherwise despite the high price
Donned her white mask, and now mumbling; "Surprise, surprise~"

Just then, a light knock sounded on the door. Cang Ri looks annoyed at it for he had given clear instructions that he was not to be disturbed. Motioning Xiao Xue to remain seating, Cang Ri walks over to open the door himself. A messenger spoke lightly.
Cang Ri, upon hearing the message, brighten up suddenly. He nods impatiently and sends the messenger off again before closing the door. Returning to his seat, he thinks for a second then he took a brush and wrote again new instructions. After he finishes, he passed the new instructions to Xiao Xue.
"Change of plans, tear away the first one I gave you."
Little Lady Xiao closed her eyes to avoid the light's dazzle
Lowered her head down, as if piecing some mental puzzle~
Little Lady Xiao heard a man at the door, lightly speaking
Yet heard not what was said, though it sounded interesting~
Little Lady Xiao gently opened her eyes, a moment's flicker
Seeing Cang Ri write some more, her new smile was richer~

Tore away the old one, and then said: "A change of color~?"

"Huh...oh...I see....hmm....interesting....very well Lieutenant, I'm thinking of sending you off to a mission next month, do you think you can succeed? The first part of the mission will be easy, considering your skills, it is the next part of the mission that will be tough."
Cang Ri takes out a letter of instructions and place it on the table.
"Read it please Lieutenant and tell me how you think of it."

Little Lady Xiao's eyes shifted uneasily in the obvious dark
Glancing once at the letter, how could she read a single mark~?

Seeing that Xiao Xue has arrived, Cang Ri beckons her to enter and take a seat. He then closes the door after her before taking back his own seat.
"Lieutenant, I call you here today discuss certain sensitive issues which I hope you can answer them. First of all, are you not familiar in the ways of espionage? Yes? Good. That is what I want to hear. Now, every kingdom has their own fair share of espionage. I have heard great things about you. From what I see, these rumors are true. I want you to tell me, how good, are you at this. Please, take your time to think of your answer."
Little Lady Xiao was a bit taken by surprise.
Slightly bit her lip, and let an eyebrow rise~
Little Lady Xiao just smiled as she took her seat
Wondering to herself, if there are plans beneath~

"A messenger, yes. Nothing more, nothing there to see~"

Cang Ri walks into the hall of justice. On the direct hierarchy chart, the Crimson Phoenix Division comes under direct jurisdiction under the white mystic. Proceeding into the inner sanctums, Cang Ri send a messenger to inform Lieutenant Xiao Xue to come, he has some matters to discuss with her.
While waiting for her to arrive, Cang Ri lets the guards know that when he is having a meeting with the Lieutenant, no one is to allowed to disturb them. The walls of the inner sanctums are thick and specially designed for secrecy. Inside each of the inner snactums, a bell is fitted inside to sound out when guards are needed, otherwise, the guards will not come close when any of a meeting is being held.
The room Cang Ri chose is simple, a desk with a lamp on it. The room is dark as there are no windows of any kind, so light comes only from the lamp on the table. Cang Ri crosses his legs and waits for Xiao Xue to arrive.
Little Lady Xiao came inside and gave a quick peek.
Opening the thick door now, as it made a little creak~
Little Lady Xiao simply smiled as she humbly bowed~
What was there to talk, for they only met just now~
Little Lady Xiao's silly head bumped into a chair.
Waking as she stood up, a tangled mess of hair~
Little Lady Xiao cupped her mouth from yawning.
Turning to the side, was a crumpled paper falling~

Li Jun presently dressed and seated. He is having his first court session with his officers. At here he will listened to various proposals, information and basically anything his officers wish to brought up to his attention. However, he had listed three agendas for his officers to discuss.

Li An was having lunch in the mess hall. Today Yun Nan Mess Hall is having Chicken Rice, being a specialist, he gets to dine with the men. Officers just don't get it.
Just as he was about to tuck in the a big fat chicken thigh, someone came running up to him and said "Sarge, the prefect wants you to report. Quickly. Something about a discussion."
Frowing he said to the guard "Right now, can't it wait till I sink my teeth into this piece of meat?" Realising that it would look bad on himself, he signed and signalled for empty pack for him to bring it along..
Arriving at the hall, he dumped the packet outside a nearby trash bin and walked in. He nodded to his brother and sat down. Still savouring the chicken rice. Too bad he could not have second helping. If the meeting end early, he might be able to squeese a second helping.
Little Lady Xiao was soundly sleeping, snoring.
So tired and wasted, from all that rice planting~
Little Lady Xiao softly mumbled in her tired sleep

'Twas the first stop of Tan Zhiyuan's long journey from city to city, dutifully answering each letter he received. A man named Li An was supposedly the one who delivered the letter, and Tan travelled all the way from Hanzhong to Yun Nan to meet with Prefect Li Jun in his palace. Accompanied by absolutely nobody, and wearing commoner's clothes as to not be recognised by anyone [even though he was completely unknown], Tan marched to the gates of the great city. He looked around, and noticing other commoners walking into and out of the city, Tan walked up to the gates and entered. Within was nothing truly of note to him; he only ever heard tales, stories, and rumours about the people to the south, and most of the things he heard were not pleasant. The city itself was like a massive, imposing fortress, and such a large complex in the centre of the city was relatively foreign to him. The prefecture at Han Zhong was rather small in comparison; perhaps even dwarfed would be an appropriate adjective.
Letter in hand, Tan walked to the doors of the prefecture, and cleared his throat before speaking to the guards.
"I have come to the Kingdom of Yun Nan to speak with Li Jun, for a man named Li An sent me a letter which intrigued me. Is Li Jun available today?"
Little Lady Xiao then spoke up sneakily from behind.
"Lord An, Lord Jun, which of them you wish to find~?"
Little Lady Xiao noticed the man's letter in hand.
Wearing peasant clothes and nothing really grand~
Little Lady Xiao then said; "My name is Xiao."
"May I read the letter in your hand right now~?"
Little Lady Xiao then turned to him quickly with her feet.
Standing in front of the man with a smile to greet~

Looking at the uniform, Han Liong said"err...it's like the stinky uniform i had to put on when i was at school"
He took it anyway.
He said"So...i guess i'll head to the Quarters now,
Xiao, move your butt!"
Little Lady Xiao then hid a feral sly grin
"This way please, past the halls within~"
Little Lady Xiao then stepped out really quick
Leaving behind Liong, if he even dared to blink~
Little Lady Xiao is walking fast with her feet
Saying out; "Why don't you move it, move it~?"
Little Lady Xiao laughed as she made a ran
Intending to hide from Liong, the crazy man~

He then stand up and walk toward the audience hall

He is staring at Li Jun audience hall
Han Liong: I came here to join Li Jun before that freak does. I must stop him from spreading his lies.

Little Lady Xiao then mumbled "Crazy Liong?"
"Hiding from a twin, isn't that kinda wrong~?"
Little Lady Xiao said; "You wanna see him now?"

"Someone else you want to talk to, anyone you wish to see~?"

Han Liong moved near the girl. He whispering something
Han Liong: Gobi Queen is a tarantula, i catched it in Gobi desert, i used it's poison to hunt animal.
But there is someone who wants it very much. His name is Han Liong, a crazy bastard who want to steal my Gobi queen. He is planning to give it to Li Jun hoping he can have a job here.
Han Liong looked around as if he fears that someone from his imagination hearing what he just said.
Han Liong: Don't trust him if he ever talk to you. What is your name little girl? Can i trust you?
Little Lady Xiao then said; "My name is Xiao."
"How did you catch one? I wanna know how~"
Little Lady Xiao asked; "Is it secret? Is it safe?"
"You can try to trust me, just have a little faith~"
Little Lady Xiao tilted her head and gave a smile
Looking at the man, idly wondering for a short while~
Little Lady Xiao then asked; "What is your name?"
"Are you hiding from Liong, is that why you came?"

Without paying attention to the little girl the man keep talking to his imaginary opponent.
Han Liong: what did you say?
...ridiculous!! Why would you want to give it to that hairy eight legged creature maniac? No!!
As if there is someone trying to take his box, Han Liong moved to grab the box when he see a little girl peeking it
Han Lion: Watch out!! You don't want to be eaten by that Gobi Queen inside that box!
Little Lady Xiao gave a little "Eek!"
Just before she made the sneaky peek~
Little Lady Xiao covered with her arms and all
Trying to get up, yet stumbling like a ball~
Little Lady Xiao asked; "What gobi queen?"
Looking all around, there's nothing to be seen~

Like a crazy man he laugh and shout out of angry. Beside him there is a wooden box with two holes at it's sides.

i'm sorry it's not your lucky day. The thing in this box won't be yours
he talks like there is someone playing chess with him
Little Lady Xiao crept out from the side
Curiously smiling, not just for the ride~
Little Lady Xiao heard the man shouting checkmate!
Yet only two of them sitting, at the front of gate~
Little Lady Xiao gently scratched her cheek
Noticing a wooden box and gave a little peek~

Just as she said; "Where did your playmate hide?"

"Bloody and unconscious, how he got there is a debate~"

Gossiping as usual, the early morning chatter~
Little Lady Xiao noticed a young guard waving
Puzzled and polite, she then waved back smiling~

Spoke gently with the guard, twenty men in a row~

And smiled as she nod, ended the speculations thereafter~
Little Lady Xiao bowed and said; "Good sir, you are expected."
"Welcome, welcome, do come with us to be properly escorted~"
Little Lady Xiao beckoned at the guards to make a good escort
"I will inform Lord Sheng of your arrival. This, I will report~"
Little Lady Xiao then sent a guard, for the Guardian of the North
Just as they made a wrong turn; "Oops, wrong way, abort, abort~"
Little Lady Xiao brought old silent Mao before a set of bronze doors
Stuffed animals all around, birds, tigers and what's that? oh, the boars~
Little Lady Xiao then did a gentle stop and made a little knock, knock
"Please wait here. I'll be back." her voice now echoing, "..back.. back~"

Suddenly there is something bothering the guards on that city's north gate. They found a young man laying in front of the gate, he is unconsious and he is bleeding.
When the guards trying to help, he faintly speak
"please...i must see the prefect..."

Liu Dai motioned his men to carry him to a shelter near the gate. After which, he asked someone to call for lady Zhang Sun who are well versed in the art of healing. He spoke to the man, "I am Liu Dai, the gate commander. Stay calm, we had sent for a healer. What had happened to you and the purpose of meeting the Prefect?"

A man was found unconscious, bleeding in front of the gate~

Lu Pei was honoured at receiving his seal of office. It was not the captaincy he wanted but no doubt that and more would follow in the years to come. He would have to get to know his fellow Lieutenant, Xiao Xue. He never liked working with women as few had the competance to complete their jobs to an acceptable degree. Yet this one was pretty enough. She must be kept away from the men who didn't need them distracted by unatainable women. Perhaps he should introduce himself.
He wandered over to Xiao Xue. "Congratulations on your appointment Lady Xiao," Lu said bowing his head. "It appears you and I will be working together from here on. I look forward to your company."
Lu looked at her. She was a young girl perhaps half his age. She had a thin figure and quick eye that hid something dangerous and perhaps deadly. Lu pei was intrigued.
Little Lady Xiao walked away from the thick of the crowd
All of them clapping, singing, and rejoicing out loud~
Little Lady Xiao gently took the scroll with a honored bow
Laughing as she did, savoring the moment called now~
Little Lady Xiao turned, oddly feeling this was important
And the smile on her face, was both clear and triumphant~
Little Lady Xiao quickly left and tried to avoid attention
For now she was Lieutenant; Crimson Phoenix Division~
Little Lady Xiao moved in the hubbub of various accents
Silently directing, nodding at their hidden secret agents~
