Up The Roof Lo~

The two officers of Li Jun faced each other down, with the blacksmith Gan Li holding his sword in the ready position while the little spy lady Xiao Xue wielding her fearsome crossbows guns. A swift breeze began to blow just then, lifting up the fallen leaves that were scattered about the courtyard. The tension began to rise, as both participants stared the other one down. Who will make the first move? Only time will tell...

The two combatants stared at each other from opposites sides of the hallway. The stone cold blacksmith Gan Li, his sword hefted expertly in his hands, looked with a grim stare at Little Lady Xiao, who wielded a hand crossbow and whip. The tension rose exponentially, as the scribes and other passerby looked on from their hidden positions in the alcoves. Who was going to make the first move?

"Rwarr!" screamed Gan Li and he began to charge straight at the little lady, his sword held menacingly in his right hand. When he got within 6 paces though, the blacksmith fell to his bottom and slid by the little spy, his left hand sliding out from his satchel and flinging his change bag at the little lady. "Psych!" he cried as the bag of coins hit Xiao Xue square in the face.

The little lady, her face now red, flung her crossbow at the blacksmith in anger. The handling hitting Gan Li on the side of the head, stunning him for a second, but no permanent damage was done. With the theatrics now out of the way, Gan stood up and now began to approach the red faced spy. "It's time someone taught you a lesson, little girl," mumbled the blacksmith as he came up close and whacked Xiao across the face with the back of his hand. As he did so however, Xiao slipped in a small leg kick that hit, stinging the blacksmith but again doing no lasting damage.

The fight continued in a predictable fashion with the blacksmith Gan Li landing in some heavy hits, while the little lady Xiao responding with similar but much less damaging attacks. Soon after around five exchanges, the two of them looked at each other and said ....

Wiping dirt and sweat out of the face, his sword sheathed
Never imagined out of such a small girl, what a worthy fight
The blacksmith rushed to see his opponent, wishing she was alright

"My humble honor to fight you, miss", Yonghui reached out his hand
If she ever needed, he would pull her up and help her stand
"well, I forgot to introduce myself, how rude of me.
I am Gan Li, at your service. Who might this lovely lady be?"

Little Lady Xiao fumbled for the bag that smacked her face
Black eyes heading for the nearest roof, an irritated gaze~
Little Lady Xiao held it up before her, stupidly laughing
Now she's aiming for the roof above, victoriously smiling~
